Bolkvest Management has been made aware of credible and serious threats against its Chief Executive Offer (Eben Saunderson) and, more importantly, his family. Multiple sources have confirmed that these threats are linked to individuals associated with one of its competitors in Wellington. Although baseless threats are not uncommon in the security industry, these threats are particularly alarming in that it originates from the Western Cape “underworld”.

Thankfully, due to the intelligence driven business model of Bolkvest, we have sufficient data to reasonably conclude that these threats are commissioned by disgruntled family members of Bolkvest’s CEO and management.

ALLEGED MOTIVE: SABOTAGE

The threats are apparently a malicious attempt to disrupt Bolkvest's operations undermine its success and ultimately establish a new criminal front in the Western Cape. It is alleged the perpetrators intension is to intimidate the the CEO and his family, and thereby undermine Bolkvest’s security reputation and interests.

STATEMENT FROM BOLKVEST CEO:

"We take these threats extremely seriously and will not be intimidated. Bolkvest remains committed to delivering excellence to our clients, and we will not be coerced into compromising our values or standards.

Bolkvest is in possession of substantial evidence to support these actions and will utilise the full might of the law, albeit civil or criminal, to protect our, and our clients’, interest.”

Bolkvest has instructed its Legal Team to take immediate action including:

1. Applying for a protection order to safeguard Eben and his family.

2. Opening of an extortion case against all individuals and parties involved.

“Let it be known: Our intelligence transcends the existence of one person. The elimination of a key individual will not result in our demise. However, a threat to a person’s family summonses a whole different beast…”
